Sheriff Charles S. Reader reports on 10-22-2015 Deputies from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office along with Officers from the U.S. Major Crimes Task Force, and the Waverly Police department took two individuals into custody for trafficking in drugs. Arrested this evening were 39 year old Connie Sparks of Piketon, Ohio and 44 year old Paul A. Fowler II of Lucasville, Ohio. Officers from the U.S. Major Crimes Task Force working undercover purchased drugs from the couple while Pike County Sheriff’s Office Investigators and Waverly Police Officers monitored the Task Force officers. Both Connie Sparks and Paul Fowler II were taken into custody without incident and charged with Trafficking in drugs and Complicity to traffic in drugs a felony of the third degree. This case will be presented to the next term of the Pike County Grand Jury.
