Pike County Sheriff Charles S. Reader is asking for the public’s help in locating a Pike County resident Christina L. Short. Sheriff Reader advised that deputies from the Pike County Sheriff’s along with Officer’s from the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle crash in the 2300 block of Sunfish Creek Road this morning at about 8 a.m. Upon arrival Officers located an over turned vehicle in a creek had been recently purchased by Christina Short of 520 Valley View Dr., Piketon. Deputies along with fire fighter personnel from Camp Creek and Elm Grove Townships made an exhaustive search of the area however no driver or passengers were located. Sheriff Reader dispatched Officers to the last known crash Sheriff Reader is concerned for the safety of the occupants of the crashed vehicle. Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of Christina Short or any other occupants are urged to contact the Pike County Sheriff’s office at 740-947-2111 or their local law enforcement agency. Sheriff Reader appreciates any assistance in this matter and anonymous calls are welcome.
