Search warrant executed, stolen property and drugs found.

Pike County Sheriff Richard N. Henderson reports that this morning at 12:09 AM members of the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 6822 S.R. 220 Waverly, Ohio. The search warrant is a result of investigation into the trafficking in prescription narcotics at the residence.
Sheriff Henderson further reports that as a result of the search warrant the Sheriff’s Office recovered stolen property, cash money and oxycontin pills. Arrested was Thomas E. Reed Jr., age 42, a resident of the home. Sheriff Henderson advised that Reed is charged with Trafficking in Drugs (felony of the third degree), Tampering with Evidence (felony of the third degree) and Possession of Drugs (felony of the fifth degree). Reed is currently being housed in the Scioto County Jail under a seventy thousand dollar bond. This case remains under investigation and will be presented to the next term of the Pike County Grand Jury.

Pike County Sheriff Richard N. Henderson reports that today at approximately 8:36 A.M. his office arrested two individuals in possession of a stolen vehicle and manufacturing methamphetamine. Sheriff Henderson reports that a third individual who was able to flee from the scene is being sought.
Sheriff Henderson reports that Deputy James Burchett was sent to the Turkey Run Road area upon receipt of information that a vehicle stolen out of Ross County was in that area. Deputy Burchett located the vehicle setting at the residence of 3031 Turkey Run Rd. Waverly, Ohio. Anthony Todd Adams, age 39, of Lucasville, Ohio and Wesley Brown of Waverly, Ohio, age 30, occupied the vehicle. Deputy Burchett learned that the suspects were actively manufacturing methamphetamine inside the stolen vehicle. Anthony Adams fled on foot and Deputy Burchett apprehended Wesley Brown. A third individual was located inside the residence and was identified as Joshua Mustard, age 37, of Beaver, Ohio. Mustard was later arrested.
Sheriff Henderson reports that Wesley Brown and Anthony Todd Adams are charged with illegal manufacture of drugs a felony of the 2nd degree, possession of drug manufacturing chemicals a felony of the 3rd degree, possession of criminal tools a felony of the 5th degree and receiving a stolen motor vehicle a felony of the 4th degree. Joshua Mustard is charged with possession of drug manufacturing chemicals a felony of the 3rd degree. Wesley Brown is currently housed in the Scioto County Jail on a one hundred thousand-dollar bond & Joshua Mustard is also housed in the Scioto County Jail on a thirty thousand-dollar bond.
A warrant for the arrest of Anthony Todd Adams has been requested and he is being sought after. Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Pike County Sheriff’s Office. All tips can remain anonymous.
Deputies certified in handling the hazardous materials related to manufacturing methamphetamine were called to the scene to process the clandestine laboratory. The case remains under investigation and will be presented to the next term of the Pike County Grand Jury.
